Planned Preventative Maintenance

A maintenance programme is an effective and efficient way to plan for the future requirements of a building or portfolio of properties. This often entails prioritising repair works to accommodate a client’s financial constraints and projected capabilities over a period of five to ten years.

The production of a preventative maintenance programme not only requires a building surveyor to understand the lifecycle requirements of a building, but also develop an understanding and an appreciation of both how the client intends to use a property and the maintenance work they can afford.
