Schedules of Condition

Schedules of Condition are an important tool in protecting both tenant and landlord prior to the commencement of any lease agreement. Schedules of Condition are required to record the state of a building prior to a tenant and landlord entering into a lease agreement.

Attaching a Schedule of Condition to a lease agreement is essential to avoiding disputes over liability for repairs, and ensuring that a property is returned to a landlord at lease expiry in no worse condition than at lease commencement.
